2023 SCRA Biennial

About the Biennial Conference

SCRA Biennial Conferences draw together SCRA and other community members from around the world to engage in stimulating conversations about recent developments in community research and action. These conferences provide attendees with a special opportunity to exchange ideas and resources, forge new collaborations, re-connect with old friends, and deepen one's knowledge and skills in topics of particular interest.

The first Biennial Conference of the Society for Community Research and Action was held in 1987 on the campus of the University of South Carolina. It has been held on alternate years (odd-numbered) since then.

Programs from all biennials are available for download at the bottom of this page. Evaluations of past biennials can be found at Planning a Biennial. Programs from previous biennials can be found in the Past Biennials section.
